Is it just me or do thes ongs being produced by these American Idol contestants suck?

The songs are so adult contemporary, like Michael Bolton and Barry Manalow music. There's nothing edgy or interesting about them.

Well, let's see.

Ruben's songs all suck.
Clay, I haven't heard much. But I'm sure they're all good.
Kimberley Locke, she's AMAZING.

And please, don't get me started about how amazing Kelly Clarkson is. She has a mad edgy song, called "Queen of the Night".

There is buzz that Steve Perry, former lead singer for Journey, may be on the show next season. So they will be singing more AOR songs.

Yes, they all suck. They also sang ****ty songs, or should I say a fraction of a ****ty song, on the show.

I wish America were more like Greece and would produce a show with a 2 1/2 - 3 hour LIVE every week and have footage from inside the house, and during the classes and lessons. If only Americans didn't have A.D.D.
