Well Seinfeld has been released today in Australia, does anyone have it? If so how about a review? I wish I lived there so I don't have to wait untill the 23rd of November!

When i saw these topic i had to register, cause i got the box sets a couple days ago and let me say first of that you wont be disappointed.
This would have to be the most comprehensive dvd box sets i have ever seen it has everything and all the cast are involved. The thing that impressed me the most is that they have interviews on each episode not just a couple but every episode. Favurite bits:Jerry seinfeld on johnny carson's tonight show and the feature Kramer vs kramer on the season 3 set. ---if u have any questions feel free to ask. |

Thank you cgm_mitch for going through the trouble of registering to post a review, and also welcome to the board. I wanted to hear what people in Australia had to say about the dvd. The truth is even if somebody said it was the worst dvd they have ever seen I would still buy it.

Perhaps a rhetorical question, but why the heck was this released in Australia first? Isn't it enough that you guys have Koalas and Kangaroos?

I don't understand it either, Seinatra. The show is an American show but it is out first in other countries. Next up will be the UK November 1st. All I can think of is they wanted it close to Thanksgiving for the shoppers and the TV special on Thansgiving.

Yes jasoncole you lucky SOB, it is out NOW in Australia!!! It came out Oct 20th. You can buy it now (that is if you can find it in the store). I almost went looking for a region free DVD player so I could buy it now, but I think I will wait until 11/23.

CGM_MITCH, The most important thing I want to know is are the episodes cut or not. I was hoping for a forum like this to find out.
We need a "Cut - uncut" thread somewhere for new releases to save disappointment after opening the packaging. $59.99 a season down under. I thought a little steep for 18 eps. But probably worth it if uncut. |

all the episodes appear to be the same as the way the network played them.If there are any deleted scenes for an episode they are in the episode menu but nt part of the episode itself

I almost fell over when I read that last sentence! How the heck did you get bitten? I bet if you spent more time in the 'outback' you would see kangaroos, wallabees, dingos and koalas running all over the place. We have squirrels and raccoons running around the backyards here, have you seen them? By the way - Welcome.
