"What I Like About You" Spin-off called...

"The Haven Family"
WB Sitcom

Allison Munn plays Tina Haven, 18 years old. Tina must leave New York to go back to her hometown (Buffalo) due to family troubles. Tina returns to Buffalo to leave things have changed extremely since she left for New York City. Tina moves back into her former childhood bedroom. Tina's dad, Mark Haven (Ted McGinley), 43 years old, is still a plastic surgeon. Tina's mom, Lisa Haven (Crystal Bernard), 42 years old, is still a dental hygenist. Tina has three siblings: Shawn Haven (Rider Strong), 21 years old, is a high school dropout who has no job, but has a pregnant girlfriend. Shawn and his pregnant girlfriend, Jenna (Rachel Bilson) lives in the Haven's basement. Tina's younger brother, Chris Haven (Griffen Frazen), 15 years old, is having troubles in school [by fitting in with the wrong crowd, being distracted from schoolwork by girls, etc.]. Tina's younger sister, Katie Haven (Jamie Lynn Spears), 13 years old, is following into Tina's footsteps [which isn't what their parents are wanting, unlike Tina who is flattered to death]. Tina's childhood best friend, Amanda (Ashlee Simpson), still lives next-door to the Haven family, but isn't the same since Tina left. Amanda has turned more rebellious since her best friend left Buffalo for NYC. Tina's former old flame, Jay Mason (Billy Aaron Brown) gets word of Tina's arrival and wants to get back together. Will Tina prefer life back in New York City with all her friends, or will Tina prefer life here in Buffalo with all her family and old friends?!?!

Episodes
"The Haven Family"

Episode 1: Pilot:
Tina comes home after her three years in NYC living with her uncle and aunt. Tina's family welcomes her home, by going out to eat. Tina learns that Shawn and his pregnant girlfriend is living with them now.

Episode 2: Making Ends Meat, Eating No Meat:
Lisa and Mark tell Shawn to get a job to pay for his unborn child. The family must deal with Katie's new found passion for not eating meat anymore. Tina bumps into her old flame, Jay.

Episode 3: Tina's In A Love Triangle:
Tina learns Jay is thinking of dumping his girlfriend of 18 months to be with Tina. Tina doesn't want to get together with Jay that way, due to him having to breaking his girlfriend's heart in the process. Chris is caught smoking by Shawn, who says nothing and buys him a pack of cigarettes. Lisa and Mark find out about Chris's smoking and are furious, but are more furious when they learn that Shawn secretly knew about it and got involved.

Episode 4: Tempting The Boyfriend:
Jenna's cousin visits her and before she leaves, she makes a pass at Shawn. Shawn is unsure of if he should tell Jenna or not. Chris gets a suspended for a week for skipping school. Lisa and Mark are disappointed in Chris. Tina is told that Amanda hasn't been the same since she left Buffalo 3 years ago.

Episode 5: The Controversial Essay:
Katie must write an essay about something, she ends up writing one about how she thinks it would be is her parents got a divorce all of a sudden. The family reads her essay and aren't too happy with how they are portrayed in the essay. Tina gets a call from Gary, telling her that he is about to propose to his girlfriend of 2 years, Nicole.

Episode 6: New Friend Vs. Old Friend:
Amanda becomes jealous of Holly (Amanda Bynes) when she pays a visit to Buffalo for the weekend. Tina wants to spend the whole weekend with Holly, but her family wants to meet Holly. Chris develops a thing for Holly during her stay with the Havens. Jenna tells her parents that she is pregnant for the first time, they go ballistic and Shawn comes to her rescue.

Episode 7: Pretty In Pink:
Katie begs Lisa to buy her a pretty pink dress for her school's dance. Lisa gives in and buys it for her. At the dance, Katie's friend, Lauren and Katie are caught wearing the same dress, and both freak out. Amanda invites Chris to get with her to a Simple Plan concert. Mark is in favor of it, but Tina is not.

Episode 8: A Proposal?:
Mark and Lisa talk to Shawn and Jenna about if they are going to get married or not. The two kids aren't sure. Shawn thinks he is doing the right thing by proposing, until him and Jenna look at prices at the average weddings. Katie get dumped by her boyfriend on the same day as Chris develops feelings for Amanda after their short-but-sweet-and-very-secretive kiss at the concert.

Ep9: Time To Think:
Lisa and Mark think about being grandparents and only being in their early 40s. Katie reads Chris's love letter from Amanda. Katie blackmails Chris.

Ep10: Jay Loves Tina:
Jay writes Tina a love song with his guitar. Tina feels special, but doesn't know if she really likes Jay like that anymore. Mark, Shawn, and Chris go on their annual Haven men-only weekend up to Mark's brother's cabin, but weather strikes and wrecks the weekend for them.

Ep11: Amanda Tells All:
Amanda tells Tina she and Chris are going out for a couple weeks now. Tina flips out and "forbids" them to date anymore, but that doesn't stop them. Tina is asked by Jenna and Shawn to be their unborn son's godmother, she gladly accepts.

Ep12: Lisa's Birthday:
Lisa doesn't want to celebrate her 42nd birthday, but Mark thinks she is just lying about not wanting a party and throws one for the hell of it. During the party, Tina learns Jay sincerely loves her. Tina agrees to going out with Jay, who is pumped. Also, Jenna's water breaks.

Ep13: The Birth:
Jenna is rushed to the hospital. Jenna gives birth after 12 hours of labor to a healthy and beautiful baby boy--Jacob "Jakey" Shawn Haven. The family meets and gets the chance to hold Baby Jakey. After the family leaves Shawn, Jenna, and Jakey alone, Shawn promises Jenna -when they can afford it, they will get married, but in the meantime they will be engaged (he proposes to Jenna, who says yes).

Ep14: Jealousy And White Lies:
Katie becomes jealous of everyone's attention being drawn from her to Jakey. Chris tells Amanda a white lie, which Amanda soon finds out about and is ticked at him. Lisa takes the day off to help Shawn look for a good job.

Ep15: Tina Loves Jay?:
During her date with Jay, Tina's old feelings for him comes back and Tina is not sure if she really wants to be tied down right now. Mark questions why Chris didn't tryout for the school's basketball team like he has in the past. Lisa and Jenna have a talk to Katie about her feelings about being jealous of Jakey.

Ep16: Not More Amanda And Chris:
Amanda breaks up with Chris, after learning Chris has kissed another girl while dating Amanda. Along with Amanda, Tina, Lisa, Katie, and Jenna are very disappointed in Chris. Mark goes and checks on Shawn on his first day of a real job at used car dealership, selling used cars.

Ep17: The One Where Jay Consoles Amanda:
Jay consoles Amanda, aftter learning Chris kissed another girl. Tina oversees Jay consoling Amanda, and is slightly jealous. Jakey's constant nightly crying gets on everyone's nerves in the Haven home, except Shawn (who sleeps through his son's crying).

Ep18: Return Of Former Rival:
Tina's former middle school rival, Erin Burke (Kaley Cuoco) arrives to town. Erin and Tina bump into each other at the mall. Truth gets out that Erin has dated and slept with Jay while she was in New York City. Tina becomes intimidated by Erin, who is in search of Jay. Lisa and Mark decide to take Jenna and Shawn out for a kid-free evening at a fancy restaurant, while Chris and Katie babysit Jakey.

Ep19: Jay's Many Women:
Jay soon learns that three women are after him now (Tina, Erin, and Amanda). Jay is undecided on who to choose, but can't help to still find Tina the most desirable. Amanda becomes royally pissed and plans to move in with her dad in Philadelphia. Erin and Tina compete for Jay's heart, but in the meantime, end up growing closer by bonding. Chris learns Amanda is moving to her dad's.

Ep20: Family Christmas Vacation:
The whole Haven family decides to fly to Florida to spend the holidays with Mark's parents for a week, and then with Lisa's sister for a week (both live in Florida, close by each other). Tina fears Erin and Jay will grow closer together while she is gone. Erin learns that Jay really wants Tina, and decides to ease up and let Tina have Jay. Erin decides to still become good friends with Jay and Tina. As the Havens head to Florida, Amanda heads to Philadelphia.
