Default Next all new episode after the world series on FOX "Rip This Joint" 11/3/04

When Eric encourages the gang to pull a prank on a crazy neighbor, their fun comes to a screeching halt and Eric is left to fend for himself. Meanwhile, when Kitty takes a Cosmo quiz, she learns that she has low self-esteem and must throw a "coming out" party for herself. The party is all fun and games until Bob accuses Midge of flirting with William Barnett.

Hi SNL75! You like both T70sS and W&G so much don't ya?! I know that for both '70s and W&G both shows are really a tad bit watered down from the previous seasons but they are pretty cool still! I think they should do like a crossover episode since they are a bit alike don't you think?! But IMHO!

i dont think they could but that idea culdnt be any worse than some of the ones w&g had last season how about donna and grace in one of the now legendery catfights that grace seemes to enjoy havng but i think we are getting off topic.

Decent episode last night.

I thought there were moments that were really great and other stuff was 6th season bad. I particularly liked Kelso holding his water gun and saying, "Is it real or is it not?" and Eric's answer of, "Well, it's green. But, then again, it's made of plastic..." Great stuff.

Plus, the Midge stuff was handled very well until they wrote her off at the end. I mean, it's fine that she leaves, but no need to leave so abruptly. Oh well, maybe she'll be back.

They either need to find something constructive for Jackie to do/say or just write her off completely. I know that's harsh, especially in the last season, but she offers nothing at all. It's a shame too because Mila Kunis was amazing during the first four years (pre-Hyde). Not that she's not great now, but she has nothing to work with.

So, overall, it was hit-or-miss last night, not one of the best of the season, but had some of the best moments, if that makes sense.

Some decent laughs last night, but the storyline is shot to hell.

Eric doing nothing as his tribute to sloth seems now like laziness on the part of the writers- they can't come up with a storyline for Eric and Donna.

So by Eric doing nothing they give themselves sophmoric license for him to play pranks and just hang out and make quips.

Let's be real here: a good developed story arc would have worked much better.

At least give Eric a job or something.

Unfortunately, this show has reached the point where it seems every episode is a new height of mediocrity. I mean, there were a few laughs, but I just am not impressed with the nowhere direction this season is taking. I mean, as the final season we should be getting storylines which will lead to the finale and tie up everything. Jackie, Donna, Fez, and Eric have served no purpose in any of the eps this season. Hyde is the only getting any developement and I'm glad to see that at least. I like his storyline. I think they could do more with Kelso as the cop/father than they are doing. Hopefully we'll see more of that later on. Kitty and Red are still consistently funny, but I thought her party for her was just silly. And Midge is once again sent off abruptly. I hope she returns for the final episode at least.

im still kind of a new fan but i agree that it just isnt as good this year when i see the reruns on my local station i laugh out loud at most of the eps. but with the new eps. i usally only manage a chuckle once in awhile maybe if terry and bonnie turner came back for the rest of the season and took a more active role in the writing and producing it would help.

Hi snl75. I do agree that both W&G and T70sS are really to show signs that it is running out of gas. I mean since Bonnie and Terry Turner I don't really know if they have left writing for the show but you know Laura Knightler from W&G? Well knowing that she was one of the writers on W&G the past few seasons since she left and the new writers of W&G and T70sS aren't really doing a very good job IMHO. But next year they will start their cable runs on FX and Lifetime networks so the best way to go out on with a bang is if T70sS and W&G end after this season since they are sister shows! Don't you agree?!

OK, what is your thing about That '70s Show and Will and Grace? YOu say they are sister shows...in what way? They are in no way related, or even in fact, similar. I can't think of one similarity between the show.

The only 4 things that are similar are this.

1.) They tape at the same studio, (CBS Studio Center)

2.) Kitty Forman and Karen Walker have the same laughter, the same personality and they have dogs too. Kitty's Dog, "Schotzie", Karen's Dog, "Chompers" and the most hot husbands, "Kitty/Red, "Karen/Stanley (though we don't see Stanley on the show!)

3.) Both shows contracts are up in 2005 and both the shows are supposed to end after this year and they are produced by Carsey-Werner, Kohan-Mutchnick, 3 sisters and NBC-Universal TV!

4.) Both of the shows have DUMBASSES on them!

Like I said over at another forum I go to. I watched the episode and I got a few laughs but its just not as good anymore. Im a total of of eric/topher but he has completely changed to where Im not sure if I like the eric character anymore. Hes too forced and a *****. They make him out to be this big old wimp but he never was like that before. And how kelso said something about them going trenching and eric didnt go cuz he thought that was wrong well the old eric would have been right in there. Its just getting pathetic.
