a HOMEBODY?-LOL I mean it's quite obvious why she is a homebody if she is a single mother. I'm asking because my friend told me recently that he met a girl who said she was a homebody after stating she had two kids. She had to know that was a very dumb statement.

Why is it dumb? Just because she's single with 2 kids, doesn't automatically make her a homebody Would he rather she lie and say does such and such instead of being a homebody? Statements like that is probably why your friend is still single ![]() There is absolutely nothing wrong with that statement |

I am a single mother of 2 kids! Does that makes me a 'homebody'?? Great! at least I'm not being called a slut!

What I'm trying to say is a single mother doesn't need to give an explanation as to why she is home a lot. On the other hand, a female without kids has to give a reason why she is home all the time because there is nothing stopping her from leaving the house. |

Yeah, I don't think having kids or not defines you as a homebody. A homebody is more just anyone who prefers to stay home.

You are right, there is nothing wrong with being a homebody. What I'm saying is a single mother doesn't have say that she is a homebody because the guy she is telling it to will already know because women with kids are not able to get out as much as a women without kids. |

So what's your poin t? A single woman should have a 'social life' because of the standards that society has labeled her? There are too many things 'out there' that prevents any single woman this days not to be a homebody.

No i'm not saying a single woman wihout kids should be out and about, i just thought it was funny that a single mother said she was a homebody because most single mothers don't get out that much to start with. |
