Florida-Weezy-Mabel King
Willona-Florence from the Jeffersons Michael-Dwayne from What's Happening! Thelma-Jenny from the Jeffersons J.J.- Freddy "Boom Boom" Washington I would say George Jefferson for James, but they have nothing in common. Rerun could be Bookman's nephew or something. |

*thinks about statement* What was I thinking! this is J.J. we're talking about. Raj would be a good friend for Michael despite their age difference. |

i agree with your matches but here's my thoughts:
Florida - i think she would get along with aunt ester from the S&S too. she would've respected how religious she was but probably not her attitude or foul mouth. but i think they would've had a lot to talk about. she and weezy are a good match b/c weezy was not pretentious and knew what it was like to come up from nothing. weezy would've been a good inspiration for florida and probably a good friend. Willona - i think she's a better match for weezy's best friend, married to the white man. i CAN not think of her name for the life of me right now. BUT, i think the willona was open minded enough to deal with an interracial relationship and they both were clotheshorses that were very fashionable and trendy. she was also not pretentious. michael - i think the raj would've been a better match for michael. dwayne was a fool and would probably be a good friend to play basketball with. but as far as having in depth discussion about the world, the black community...he was a better match for him. they were both very bright and not ashamed of wanting to be educated and do better for themselves. thelma - jenny would be a perfect match. they are both daddy's girls, whiney and boy crazy. thelma wasn't ashamed about where she was from and jenny wasn't snobby. perfect match. JJ - freddy washington is a perfect match. complete fools that think they have game for the ladies. even though freddy could back it up. he would also expose JJ to people of different races and ethnicities in his crew. so i think that would be a good match. James - i would stick him fred sanford himself. LOL james was an old soul and a man's man. they could get together and have a few drinks. i think james would find fred amusing and hilarious. he also would be motivated b/c he owned his own business, something he always wanted to do. i think they would get along quite well. just my 2 cents.

Those were very good thoughts, knl9674. I'd mentioned Dwayne and Michael because they all most look and sound alike, but like you said, Michael was more brighter.

I agree Raj would have been a better friend for Michael than Dwayne. Now J.J. and Rerun would work, I think.

for some reason, i can't JJ and rerun as running buddies. not after looking at his supposed crew "the awesome foursome". i could see JJ and dwayne because they both were absolutely clueless.

A good friend for Michael would be Barbara Cooper and Joannie Cunningham.

I like the Fred and James combo. They could have drank Muscatel and Ripple and called it "Muscapiple". Helen Willis and Willona, yeah since they were both fashion divas on their shows. Michael and Raj or even Lionel Jefferson and Michael, even though Lionel was older he could have been a great mentor for Michael. Florida and Florence IMO would have been good friends. |

To me Florence and Willona would have been better as friends than Florida. Maybe Florida and Weezie? |

Now that's funny. I wonder whatever became of the Sylvers. And just to think I had their first album. Remember "Boogie Fever".
