Questions About "My Husband, The Rooster Renter" Episode? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Guys,

This is from Season 1: Could someone check the DVD and tell me what dialoge is cut from this episode from TV Land? I am specifically referring to a scene quick speed up after Oliver buys Bertrum the rooster from Mr. Haney. Is there some dialoge missing there that is in the unedited version? TV Land goes from Oliver telling Mr. Haney that he absolutely will not buy Bertrum to a speed up scene that is unrecognizable. The next scene has Oliver in the kitchen carrying Bertrum and talking to Lisa about it.

Also, is this an inconsistency? Lisa mispronounces "Hooterville" calling it "Hootersville." But she says that they have to DRIVE into Hooterville. I thought the Douglases always LIVED in Hooterville!

I thought tvland showed something like mr. haney saying "mis-ter douglas, bertrum is NOT for sale", and THEN oliver carries the rooster into the bedroom. but i could be wrong, i hadn't seen that ep in a while.

But I also noticed that the DVD of Green Acres always has extra parts or dialoge so there probally is something missing but I haven't seen that episode on T.V. in a while so I don't remember.
