Liz Buckman: Bad trader??? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Geez - I sure hate to post her as a bad trader...but....

We had completed 2 successful trades prior to setting up a large trade for more than 30 "retail" tapes. I was moving and needed to send all of the tapes up front, which I did and even through in some extras that I thought her kids would like. This occurred in March 04. I received a couple of email messages early on stating she had some personal problems preventing her from completing our trade on time. I told her no problem, just keep me posted. After that, I didn't hear from her until Aug 31st when she emailed and said she wanted my address to mail some dvds. She also stated she wanted to start trading again and would send first because she new she screwed up. I emailed my address right away and a couple of weeks later, I followed up with another email (included my address) because I hadn't heard from her. She said she didn't receive my email with my address. Another week or 2 passed and again and no email telling me she had mailed anything. It has now been almost 7 weeks since she originally asked for my mailing address and as far as I know, nothing has been mailed. She has not responded to my last 2 emails.

I am still hoping she will come through and Liz - if you are reading this - please email me with a tracking number so I know you have shipped something/anything?? to me. I went above and beyond on this trade, sent more tapes than was asked for - all retail tapes. Only asked for one homemade tape in exchange for each retail tape. I'll not contact you again...not worth the frustration it causes. However, I did want to warn any new potential traders who stumble across your site that you have not completed the trade we set up back in March.

Sorry for the negative post...I'm disappointed in what happened with someone who used to be a responsible, good trader.

I too had had a succesful trade with her in the past. We set up another trade for just one tape, I sent and havent heard from her in 6 months.

Apparently, she tried to sell videos and dvds in April that she asked for in a trade AND received from me. I did a google search for cartoon80s and she is/has been attempting to sell and trade all along.

I guess I am too nice at times and end up getting burned....

Liz got me good on this one

I'll be happy to clear her name if she ever comes through on this trade - but, I doubt it will ever happen. Too bad...Liz - you used to be an honest trader with good tapes...what happened to you????

If at all possible, it'd be a good idea to post Liz's partial address as bad traders typically acquire new identities and go on their merry way.

I have some awsome tapes I received from her in the past - the quality is unsurpassed - as good as retail tapes!

Is it obvious that I'm still hoping she comes through for me?? I really enjoyed the stuff I have received from her and emails have always been very friendly.

Liz - it isn't too late to work on our trade - I'll clear your name if you will complete our trade for 30 tapes or dvds and you don't even need to send them all at once.

I've found on a Google search she is posting on a Yahoo tv trading community. If anybody posts on that one...please warn traders about her. I'm happy to give references
