Willona and Rollo; I would had loved to see the two of them hooked up

Thelma and Lionel Jefferson (Mike Evans)
Wow, they would had made a gorgeous couple...

JJ and Pam Grier..(Poor Pam)

Bookman and Nell Carter; another excellent pairing..Those two would make a good match as well...

I don't know what I was thinking when I said Pam Grier for J.J. How about Vernee Watson? She was that female sweathog on Welcome Back, Kotter.

Willona-Ron Harris (Barney Miller)
Michael-Dee Thomas (What's Happening)
Thelma-Raj Thomas (What's Happening)

I agree with Nell Carter for Bookman.

Debbie Allen for J.J.: I really liked them together in "J.J.'s Fiancee".
too bad they had her character leave him to find heroin.

Willona woulda saw right thru the wanna bee player in Rollo. Not to mention, he was too young for her.

She needed someone more distinguished, a little money, great sense of humor and definitely down to earth.

denzel washington's character on hill street blues. PERFECTO.

lionel + thelma = perfect match up. but the first lionel, not the 2nd whiney one.

I think Harris' arrogance would be a major turn off for Willona; he was very stuck on himself, and I think Willona was tired of men that were more interested in themselves than they would be in her...

You mean the HANDSOME Lionel Jefferson (Mike Evans) not the dog faced one (Damon Evans)

Hmm...yeah, that's right, especially when there were talks of making his book into a movie.

I'll go along with Rollo He was pretty cool.

Willona was definitely more mature than Rollo and definitely older. i'm going by at the start of each show. at the start of sanford and son and the start of good times. i do not believe they were in the same age bracket.

florida and wologna grew up together. florida was around late 40s or 50s. rollo at the start of S&S was late 20s or early 30s. that's not the same age bracket.

in real life they may have been the same age, but their characters were not.

It's too bad Cleavon Little died, his Jerry Noland character might be compatible with Willona and they were a little more closer in age than her and Rollo.

Plus, Harris from Barney Miller seems gay to me.
