This Christmas special includes Sally singing "Santa, Send a Fella", Rob and Laura as Tap Dancing Santas, and Ritchie singing "Little Drummer Boy" The show concludes with Rob, Laura, Buddy, Sally, Mel and the rest of the cast singing a few bars of The Dick Van Dyke theme song with the trip over the ottoman sound effect included.

11:00am Wings (#60) – The Customer’s Usually Right - Joe, Brian, and Helen always spend Christmas Eve together and watch a rental movie, Joe finds out he was charged fifty cents rewind fee, he wants to correct the mistake. Joe goes to the video store and makes a big deal that causes the tape rewinder a woman in her 90's to get fired. Joe then finds out that Lowell watched the tape after he rewound it, Joe calls the store to only find out she has been hospitalized. Joe feels so guilty that he goes to visit her.
11:30am Wings (#83) – Happy Holidays - Brian and Alex get into a dispute because Brian doesn't want to spend Christmas with her family in Florida. Antonio and Bunny share be lonely together, which leads into a little more then just sharing their loneliness. Fay's planed Children Center Christmas party turns out to be a disaster.

Sam brings him home, and he's confused as to whether or not he's been dreaming. The next day is Christmas. Mr. Mortimer arrives at the Stephens' with gifts and accepts Sam's invitation to dinner.
4:30pm Bewitched (#184) - Santa Comes to Visit and Stays and Stays - Tabitha tells Sam that her friend Sidney doesn't believe in Santa Claus. Esmerelda comes to help for a few days. She sneezes up a goat... it fades. Darrin comes home and she sneezes up Santa. Mrs. Kravitz comes over and thinks Santa is Darrin in costume.

Meanwhile, Cliff's efforts to win a trip to Disney World by collecting more cans of food for the homeless than other postal workers fails, despite some well-intentioned help form Woody.

Overall it looks like they have some good programming for December (Fa La La Fridays, The 100 Most Memorable TV Moments, and the Three's Company mini-marathon).

It looks like maybe they are starting to make 'Wings' a little more permanent for TV Land. It will be interesting to see what happens in January when Murphy Brown arrives on Nick@Nite (will that knock Wings off N@N and onto TV Land's regular line-up?)

Are 'Carol Burnett and Friends' and 'The Flip Wilson Show' returing to Saturdays at 8/8:30am in December? I hope so, that Originals block was getting a little too large.

So the surprise drama that we have been waiting for all these months is "Highway to Heaven"? I've actually never seen/heard of this show, so I will not say anything about it. After watching some of the TV Land's Top 10 Cars Marathon earlier this week, I started to think of what could be........ oh well. I'm sure this will bring more 1980's protests on the TV Land boards.

That's what I was thinking that N@N might send Wings to TVLAND in Jan. Personally I kinda hope so, maybe it would get a better timeslot, and TVLAND seems to treat it better, I wonder how the ratings for the Wings mini marathons Friday afternoons have been?

WOW Wings has alot of episodes included in the marathon, maybe TVLAND will show the christmas episode N@N won't show.

I'm stunned by people who have never heard of Highway to Heaven. I watched it with my mom, every week when it was originally on. I'm really glad that it's coming to TV Land.

For those of you who don't know it ran from 1984-1989 on NBC and starred Michael Landon and Victor French

I can vividly remember seeing the Halloween episode called, I Was a Middle Aged Werewolf that aired on October 28, 1987.

Highway to Heaven was really a "Love it or Hate it" kind of show - it definately had its fans, but it's just not everyone's cup of tea.

I checked it out and it's like you can tape these shows from their regular timeslots. The 1st annual merrython was the best because they took shows that were rarely seen and mixed them with some current ones that aired. I wish Head of the Class was included in the package.
