Hi Everyone,
Barry Willaims (Greg Brady) is currently playing Captain Von Trapp in the musical Sound of Music. I haven't seen it yet, but it comes to my town in the middle of March.

There are several connections between "The Brady Bunch" and "The Sound of Music". Nicholas Hammond played Doug Simpson on The Bunch and Friedrich von Trapp on TSOM

Kym Karath "Gretl" played Jan's friend Kerry that Peter fell for on the Brady Bunch.

The Sound of Music was a Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. The King and I was also a Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, and Patrick Adiarte, who played the king's son Prince Chulalongkorn, played David in the Hawaii episode of the Brady Bunch. Coincidentally, all three of these R&H actors appearances on the Brady Bunch were in Season 4.

Florence Henderson played Maria in the road company of "The Sound of Music." She played Maria more than anyone except Mary Martin.
