Lightbulb "My Cake" Thoughts...

Hmmm, It was a pretty funny episode, but I'm not sure if that was a good thing this time around, I don't think they took J.D's dads death and Turk's diabetes seriously enough. This should have been more dramatic like "My Screwup" or "My Old Lady" They should have saved Turk's diabetes for another episode and focused more on J.D's Dad.

I agree that they didn't take the issues seriously enough.
JD didn't even seem very upset.

It did have it's funny moments but I was shocked to see the lengths at which Dr. Cox went to be nice to JD.
It was absolutely the most agreeable he's ever been.
Not that it was a bad thing- and I'm sure he will be just as disagareeable as ever after this.

Two other notes:

Elliot, again, seems to have nothing to do.

The Janitor storylines are getting annoying.

Thats probably the shortest screen time Elliot has ever had in the whole series. I don't think she was even in it for like 2 minutes

and the Janitor was better when he picked on J.D

I thought it was a good episode, but I agree that it coiuld have been a little more dramatic, maybe even save Turk's diabetes for another time.

Dan was hysterical! They didn't explain why he was acting that way though.

While I am sick of the janitor, I did think that was funny when he pulled Ted up with that crane

More Ted, Kelso, Laverne, Nervois Guy, and Elliot, a little less Todd, and kill off Janitor! Please get rid of him!

Scrubs really deserves an Emmy this year. It's so much funnier than Everybody Loves Raymond. Heck, I'd rather watch the Janitor get his own show than watch another episode of "Raymond".

I personally loved the fact that these topics were taken lightheartedly.

Season 4 just gets better and better....

Because JD's dad was an intricate part of the show, therefore it wasnt a big loss to the viewer. And I personally have many family members with diabetes.... and that's probably the most lighthearted disease anyone could get. (next to skincancer, which also runs thick in my family)
