Question Favorite comic strip?

There are a few comic strips that I love but there are none that stand out better than Calvin & Hobbes. Anyone remember that strip? I can't believe it's been almost been 9 years since the strip ended. I remember when I first heard about it. I was shocked because I read it religiously and that it was doing so well and then Bill Watterson abruptly announced his retirement.

Even though it's no longer around, I still think it is one of the greatest comic strips ever. I was never a big fan of the early strips (Calvin & Hobbes, Something Under the Bed is Drooling, and Yukon Ho). I like the strips from "Weirdos from Another Planet" and later the best.

The strip that replaced it in the San Diego Union Tribune was "Mutts." I tried getting into it but I couldn't. The strip is still in that slot today.

My favorite comics of all time are probably The Far Side and Calvin And Hobbes.

Right now, the comics page is uninteresting to me, with the exceptions of The Boondocks (which my backwards-ass local newspaper refuses to run) and Fox Trot.

I miss Calvin & Hobbes so much

I also love Cathy, Peanuts, Garfield and, to second Janice on a more obscure one, The Leftersons
