I finally received the episodes Strays 1 and 2 in the mail today - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This is the two part episode when George gets stabbed in the alley by a female gang member and hired the big ugly bodyguard named HUGO. I have not seen these eps since it aired on CBS in 1982

Aren't those the episodes where Weezy takes in the kids and they tried to steal Geoge's wallet and one of them gave it back?

Although a lot of people think the show jumped by this point I rather enjoyed these episodes when I first saw them in 1982 and when I saw them in syndication too. Weezy never met the gang members though and one of them was pregnant. I must say that George getting stabbed was probably the most shocking plot point ever in this series. The next most unexpected was Lionel and Jenny's divorce near the end of the series.

No, that episodes is called Red Robbins. When one the girls takes George's wallet and then gives it back in the 84-85 season. Strays 1 and 2 was about a female Gang called the Strays who broke into George's Cleaning store in Brooklyn and then stabbed him in the alley when he refused to give up his wife's engagement ring.
