Deeply: A Thunderbirds songfic

Synopsis: A TV-verse musical scene. Scott's in denial about his feelings for Lady Penelope.

SCENE: 3:00pm on Tracy Island. Scott is in the Tracy lounge with Virgil, Gordon and Alan. The four brothers are gabbing.

Virgil: So, Scott-- who are you taking to the dance?

Gordon: As if we didn't know. (they giggle)

Scott: And what is _that_ supposed to mean?

Alan: Oh, please.

Virgil: As if there isn't a single woman on the face of this planet who has kind of a thing for you.

Scott: Who is it, Guys?

Virgil, Gordon and Alan all turn down the lounge and point at the blonde woman talking to Jeff.

Scott: You've got to be kidding me. Lady Penelope? We're just friends!

Gordon: Yeah, and...?

Scott: And nothing!

Alan: Yep, he's got it bad.

Virgil and Gordon: Mmm-hmm.

Scott: You guys are seriously deluded.

He jumps off the couch.

Just drop it, all right? I'm going to go talk to my _friend_ and see you later.

Scott turns and starts walking down the hall. Lights dim around him and the villa drops away, leaving him alone with his thoughts.

Scott: (singing quietly, softly) You ask is my loving you,
All I can say is how I feel,
Deeply, deeply as can be.

The lights also appear on a backing singer, it is Lady Penelope.

Scott reaches the other end of the lounge. Lady Penelope is standing right in front of him smiling.

Lady Penelope: Are you ready to go, Scott?

Scott: Lead the way.

They both walk hand in hand as the music fades.
