Default What do you think is the most appropiate time for a DVD to be released from season to

season?

I like to wait between 4-5 months, because that gives me plenty of time to watch the set and to decide if I want to buy the next set and/or save up for it or for another show coming out on DVD. I don't like to wait for long periods of time because sometimes it can seems like forever *cough* Columbia Tri-Star *cough.* It can also come out as doubtful as to whether or not another set will be released.

2-3 Months, just enough time to watch the first set.

2-3 is convienient but 5-7 months is bearable. Unless the show is recent and coming out on DVD fast (ala 24, Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Sex And The City, Alias), I can't justify a long waiting period for it on DVD. 2-3 would be great but I accept that it never happens unless you're a Trekkie.

And I too hate the inconsistancies of Columbia TriStar's release patterns, is it so insane to think 6 or so months between titles is reasonable? If you don't intend to release the rest of the seasons, SAY SO.

i like 6 months because it isnt too long to wait, and I'd rather they took the extra time to do it right.
