I don't know if this has been posted before, but what movies make you cry?
For Me: John Q A Walk to Remember Love & Basketball (I don't know why but I ALWAYS cry at the end of it) |

Lady Jane - if you've never seen it, see it. It really will break your heart.
Portrait of a Lady - I was crying for about twenty minutes after that movie ended. The House of Mirth - I watched it cuz I knew I was going to meet the director, Terence Davies in London. I was bawling. Oh, and my DVD now reads "Best Wishes, Emily, Terence Davies." I love that thing! The Fox and the Hound - I know, I'm a wuss. And then there's the ones that make everyone cry: -Love Story -Little Women -Stepmom |

Little Nicky, but that's because it's so bad it makes me cry.
I might be exposing myself as a *****, but I'll admit I've gotten a little weepy with these movies: Rocky (the original, without a number behind it): at the end when Rocky's calling out for Adrian Popi (movie starring Alan Arkin): when Popi forces his sons into a rowboat in the ocean in hopes that they'll be rescued by a rich family, that particular scene always gets me started Cooley High: when Preach finds Cochise after he's been beat up |

LMAO, I watched that for the first time last night and totally cried...lol, I get close to crying often when i watch movies, but think I really did there. Girl, Interrupted and The Iron Giant are the first that come to mind for movies that get me somewhat agitated. 21 Grams and The House of Sand and Fog were both pretty depressing, though I dont know if I cried. I was very close to tears the first time I saw American History X, but dont know if it ever got me that depressed again. |

John Q
To Kill A Mockingbird Selena La Bamba The Buddy Holly Story Moonlight Mile I don't know why, but I don't cry when I watch Moonlight Mile because the plot of the film is sad. I mean, the film is sad, but that's not why I cry. I just love the courtroom scene in which Joe breaks down and ends up telling the truth. That film was the first film and I think the only film I have watched since, that I didn't know why the film made me cry. |

I've only ever admitted to one person that tears have been brought to my eyes by a film (it was actually during Open Water- she felt silly for crying at a film). The film I'm talking about was The Green Mile
