Post Child Abuse

Did you know that a study conducted in the Netherlands says
that the crying of a baby can sometimes trigger abuse such as
slapping, smothering and shaking the infant? I read this in an
article on Yahoo! News.

You have to learn a new trait as a new parent; PATIENCE...When I first became a mother, and encountered a difficult time I just walked away for a few minutes and came back. It's difficult to deal with a tiny person that the only way they can communicate with is crying either for good or bad.

Any parent who tells you that they didn't at least desire to slap, shake or smother the little screamers is a liar. I'll make a big huge confession here. I was tempted to toss one of my little screamers out the window once. I didn't and so she has grown up to be a delight. But hey, it was a close one.

Many teenage pregnancies end in the mother shaking their children to death, believe it or not. It's more so do due to stress, though. The teenager is trying to study, the baby won't shut up, and well, you know.

I think "many" is a gross overstatement.

That teenager should've used some form of birth control and keep her legs closed in the first place!

How about one in 1 million? It's just so overblown that it made me cringe to read someone saying it. So, no, not happy.
