Default Thoughts on the Season 5 dvd

I thought the season 5 dvd was pretty good. The only episode I didn't like was Camping Trip.

My favorite episodes were:

Brother Can You Spare an Act?
My Fair Esther
Ebenezzer Sanford
The Odd father
Fred Sanford has a Baby
The TV addict

I liked the 5th season of Sanford and Son, besides the fact that there were a couple of episodes that I though stunk; and the Camping Trip ep is the WORST Sanford and Son Episode of the show's entire 6th season run...

Is the Brother Can you Spare an Act episode the one when Lamont is tap dancing on stage?

I hated that Rodney character. He brought nothing to the show.

"My Fair Esther" was one of the better episodes of the entire series i think. The interaction between Fred and Esther was hilarious. It was funny because he was'nt blatantly insulting her but his comments to her were very funny.

Fred: (reading a beauty book)..."a stairway to a more beautiful you..."stairway??....Esther is going to need a elevator."

The only part of that episode that was annoying was Lamont acting as though his joining the Watts Businessman's Associaton was the biggest thing in the world.

The very end where Fred pulls the table cloth off of the judges table brings me to tears everytime i see it.

One of my favorite episodes from the 5th season is Earthquake 2; it is very to see how small and undeveloped Las Vegas was back in 1975, compared how the city looks today...

I love in "Earthquake 2" when Fred was trying to have a conversation with Merv Griffin in Las Vegas.

Merv: ''What are you? Some kind of nut??

Fred: (grumbling voice) "I used to like you!...Dummy."

that was funny; and it was also cute how Fred Foxx walked around aimlessly in Las Vegas

Hey Undercover. The Camping Trip episode wasn't nearly as bad as 'CAROL'. I think that was the worst episode.

I think Camping Trip was worst because it was just Fred and Lamont in the same spot for entire episode. In Carol, they do go to the Bank, and different rooms of the house and there is other supporting characters involved instead of just Fred and Lamont.
