Does anyone else like the way the show was in the earlier years? I really like the downtown/city type of atmosphere in the early shows. I like the underground apartment. The pizza parlor.

I didn't like when Laverne's dad left the pizza business and went into fried chicken and southern food.

Give me pizza parlors, bowling alleys, diners, and subway trains. Anytime.

Don't go to California.

I agree with you! It was better when it was set in Milwaukee, but Garry Marshall decided it needed a change. *sigh*

i preferred the classic milwaukee seasons, but i enjoyed the california ones as well

I enjoyed California very much - it was nice to see Laverne in shorts more often, hehe!
