When good singers goes bad heres some in my opion.

1 Brittney Spears..

She was a cute girl in 1998 when her abum came out,but now look at her,I'll use her cd's as a coaster.

Madonna-- She just gone worst to worst. 1984 she came out she was a big success,now she's into what ever and it's not like her older albums.

Janet Jackson---Was a very cute girl when she did Good Times in the early 80's,and she had hit songs in the late 80s-90's,she's still bring out albums,but she turned worst when she was sining at the 2004 superbowl and you no what happend there..

Cher-the other half of Sonny,but when she divorcd Sonny and got married to a rocker in 1987 younger then her. Her voice is still e xcellent,but her style of out fits got worst.

Dolly Parton--When she got in her disco mood her out fits were horriable.In 1970's.

Whitney Houston How Will I know star was sexy when she came out on the sence in 1980's,butin 1990's she was down hill taking drrugs and who knows what. She is married to Bobby Brown another 1980's singer.

When good singers go bad is the topic. So--are we discussing judging their VOICES or their CHOICES? Who is to decide what's "bad" and whether Britney needs to "turn her life around."? As far as I know, she's never done anything "bad" other than act impulsively. Unless someone is an animal killer, or child abuser or murderer or drug/user/pusher why not let people be themselves? As for older singers--just what the h e l l do you expect their voices to sound like after 30 years of steady performing? At least they can say they've been around that long! These other idiots have their 15 minutes of "fame" but it's usually not for their vocal performances, but because they've married some other idiot in Las Vegas! Whitney has unfortunately "cooked" her voice with drugs. Cher has never taken drugs. And yes...Miss Jackson is bisexual. That doesn't affect a person's voice, though. I dislike her no matter whom she sleeps with. She's a non entity to me because she's an idiot. Being an idiot is more offensive to me than being homosexual that's *for sure*.

Whitney is drug free now. I saw her picture of her concert she did in Asia in the summer and she looks great.

As for Madonna, I only liked her, maybe a little bit in the 80s. She doesn't even have a good voice and she is overrated.

her being in sin is all your personal opinion. Melissa is not offensive, I can see why you might be offended by someone like k.d. lang who presents herself masculine, but all Melissa has done is be herself. Why is it so hard for you to comprehend that gay people are born that way?

Melissa is a huge hero for the gay/lesbian/bi community, she is a great musician and person. Not everyone is of the belief that being gay is a choice and a sin. Melissa is like Ellen, people who still have a problem with their sexual orientation ARE THE ONES WITH A PROBLEM. I can see being uncomfortable by someone who is "butch" or a gay man is "femme". but Melissa isn't like that.

But why would you trash Melissa and defend Janet's actions? Outside of the whole "lesbian" thing (which there is nothing wrong with), what has Melissa done that is so much worse than some of the trashy things Janet has done in the last 5 years?

btw, I don't have a "political agenda". I just feel that we should be given the chance to live and let live instead of having ignorant biblethumpers telling us we're evil when the dumbasses have never spent a day in our shoes. None of us chose this and I think the true sinners are those who hate homosexuals and use the excuse they're doing it "for God", I think when the end comes, the brimstone preaching types will be in for a rude awakening when they discover the way they treated others was actually a bigger sin than the things they were bitching about in life.

bout her choice of cltohing for that time during her disco fase,I did not mention if she was a bad singer she is one of my top ten list of all females singers of all time.

i think people can make there own mind about there sexuality,it is none of othere people busensee unless they hurt someone or having sex with a minor. Ok so lets not talk about that s word any more Thanks.
