Lana: Woman with a Mission! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Lana rocked! She was one of my favorite characters. She was sooo hilariousI don't think she was all that terrible of a person either, she was just after Jack. She had a mission. That was to get Jack and people who kind of got in her way, she sort of had to push out so they did NOT get in her way. We all have to get a little mean like Lana with people who get in the way of something we really want. We really don't mean to be,but ya just gotta be sometimes!! I just do not see why people are always hating on Lana!! We are all like Lana whether we really want to admit it or not. And even if you aren't, you can't blame the poor woman. Players gotta play! The people who took her off did a great disservice to people. People who don't like her they don't look at the broad picture! She was like any other person who had a goal and was trying ever so desperately do fulfill that goal. She should be an inspiration. An inspiration of a woman who tries desperately to work hard for something she desires. She has something we all at least wish we had and that is the peristence of trying to achieve something we want. Lana's character has a deeper meaning than just a slutty old woman after a younger man, she was a goal oriented person who had ambition. Lana was cool. Lana was keepin it real. Lana was awesome and people who don't like her probably miss the fact that she was soooooooooooooo very determined to get what she wanted. Lana came in the show with a mission in mind. She never ever backed away from it and never let anything get her down or anyone. Suurree some see her as slut, but she was in my mind far from it. She was a independent woman trying to get what she wanted. She was NOT a bad person at all. She was what we all are when we are very set on a specific goal: never giving up, and yes, maybe a bit cranky when people got on her nerves and got in the way. Lana is a heroine. Anyone of you feel the same? I'd like to know!! Thank you. Thats all i have to say. Thank you again.

Lana was pretty funny, but her character did wear off after a while, in a way she was a slutty rip-off of Mrs. Roper.

She was not a slutty rip off of anyone! She was an independent woman trying to make her way. Sure she acted like she was slutty but she in my opinion was far from that. Just my opinion. Does anyone out there like Lana besides me? I know I am not the only one in the world who likes her but is there anyone on this board who does?
