Default I wish Redd Foxx was in more movies

Only movies I known him to appear in was, "Cotton Comes to Harlem" a movie with Pearl Bailey, I can't think of the name, and "Harlem Nights". It's like he got no movie roles during and after Sanford and Son.

Yes, he did make a movie while he was doing Sanford and Son. It will called "Norman, Is That You?" made in 1975.

Right. Didn't Redd play a father who found out his son was gay, got all pissed off and, predictably, eventually came to terms with it?

Yes, that's the one. I know that they have shown it on TV about 10 years ago but I haven't seen it since. I wonder if it's on DVD.

Default I have Ghost of a Chance...

I bought a VHS-PAL copy from a guy in Britain and had it coverted to NTSC. Quality is OK. It was a 1987 TV movie which also starred Dick Van Dyke. He was also in Harlem Nights and he played a piano player in an early movie (1960) called "All the Fine Young Cannibals". He is uncredited.

Default I wish...

I wish he had starred in one less movie...Harlem Knights was such a wasted effort (IMHO). All those stars given so little to work with! Just junk.
