Two Families As One, Starring Tim Daly, Steven Weber, Amy Yasbeck, and Crystal Bernard as four childhood best friends who are married to each other and have families of their own, and they live next-door to each other.
Tim Daly and Crystal Bernard play Joe and Renee Carterrall; as Steven Weber and Amy Yasbeck play Pete and Michelle Kinnley.
Joe and Renee have been married since 1984, they have two kids: Liz Carterrall, 17, and Ryan Carterrall, 16.
Pete and Michelle have been married since 1985, they have also two kids: Amanda Kinnley, 17, and Justin Kinnley, 16.
Joe Carterrall is a real estate agent.
Renee Carterrall owns/runs her own restaurant.
Liz Carterrall is in the 11th grade and is a junior. Lis works as a hostess at Renee's restaurant.
Ryan Carterrall is in the 10th grade and is a sophomore. Ryan works as a busboy at Renee's restuarant.
Pete Kinnley is a real estate agent.
(Joe and Pete work together in the same real estate agency).
Michelle Kinnley owns/runs her own beauty salon.
Amanda Kinnley is in the 11th grade and is a junior. Amanda works as a receptionist at Michelle's salon.
Justin Kinnley is in the 10th grade and is a sophomore. Justin works with Joe and Pete as their "go-for" guy.

Episodes:

Ep1: Pilot:
It's the first day of school for the kids. Liz and Amanda are entering the 11th grade, as Ryan and Justin are entering the 10th grade. Ryan and Justin both get a detention on the first day of school. Their parents are not happy with the boys and their accomplishment.

Ep2: Liz's New Job:
Liz gets hired as a hostess at Renee's restaurant. Liz ends up loving the job, as well as the pay. Amanda becomes jealous that Liz is spending all her free time at work, so she decides to work at Michelle's salon (as a receptionist).

Ep3: Male Bonding:
Joe, Pete, Ryan, and Justin go on their annual men-only camping trip for the weekend. When a storm hits, their plans are ruined-even though they "attempt" to make the best of it-but no such luck. Meanwhile back at home, Michelle and Renee plan a scrapbook party. It turns out that need Liz and Amanda to help them out.

Ep4: The Concert:
Liz, Amanda, Justin, and Ryan go to a concert together, but get separated (Liz and Ryan, Justin and Amanda). The siblings must stay together to find their friends before the concert is over, but will they stay sane the whole time? Probably Not.

Ep5: Old Memories:
Michelle, Renee, Joe, and Pete go out for dinner and after bumping into a person from their childhood, old childhood memories start to become the topic for discussion the whole night. Meanwhile, Liz throws a party at her house, but will Renee and Joe find out? Of Course.
