Don't you knowing by posting that that people will post in objection to your lame opinion of the show than they would've already. It's a discussion board, so it is our business. But more than that, affairs and murders have been around longer than this tv show. If you don't like it, turn off the damn tv.

Where have you been? What 'sells" has been the way things have worked long before "now a days".

It's a damn tv show. Don't assume that everyone who'll watch this is so stupid that they can't separate fact from fiction and run around having affairs. WTF? Do you get this worked up hearing about another American soldier being killed in Iraq? If you're gonna get upset about something, let it be something of more substance than Desperate Housewives.

but I can understand why some people might find the show degrading, but it's not supposed to be taken seriously, it's a spoof on Stepford Wives and soccer moms

You know that's what remote controls are for, to turn the channel, if you don't like it don't watch it

If television influences people, please tell me what show you watched that influenced you to post some stupid crap like this. I don't want to turn out like you. Dumbass.

Very thought out comeback, that took you all of what a minute to come up with?

You bitch about tv influencing people, yet spew venom at people who don't share your opinion, looks like something's influenced you, but I'm not sure what

What the hell? He states his opinion so you come back with this? Good grief, if you don't like the show that's fine but you don't have to be so damn nasty.

And yeah, I liked the show too.

By the way, did I mention yet that I liked the show? I missed the tail end when I saw the first post in this thread, good thing I was recording it. I get angry when people blame television for perceived real-life immorality. There's a remote control to turn off the tv if you don't want to see it, and there's a mirror if you want someone to be accountable for someone's actions. Stop using television as a scapegoat.
