Default Consistency found in regards to how George started his cleaning business

I was watching a episode of All in the Family-"Oh My Aching Back"(1971) and Lionel informs the Bunkers that his Father just opened up a cleaning store because he and Louise were able to get money from the city of New York because they were involved in a bus accident. Then in the Jeffersons episode-"The Reporter"(1975)-season 1, George was telling Louise how he got his first cleaning store from hard work and determination and Louise says and because of the $5000 Whiplash Settlement from the city of New York. Now that's what I call CONSISTENCY!!!!!!!!.

There was a episode in the 1980-1981 season where George opened his first cleaning store on the day that Martin Luther King Jr. was shot, because they found the store was robbed and Lionel wanted to steal things to get back at the person who shot Martin Luther King Jr.

There must have been different writers in the 80-81 season because there was no way his cleaning store could have opened and he was still living in Harlem. So i guess the writers from that season forgot that the Jeffersons were on All in the Family-lol

I take that back the episode airing in the 1980-1981 season,it was in the 1979-1980 season. And it was called "The First Store" first aired on April 6,1980. It was about them opening up their first store in Harlem in 1968. I looked through my Columbia House tapes and found it. They were living in a housing development and Lionel stole a TV during the riots in Harlem.

The writer responsible for that episode didn't have a clue-lol George first cleaning store opened up in Queens in 1971
