magellan333 Member Forum Regular Join Date: Jun 26, 2003 Location: Chattanooga, TN Posts: 822	Thanksgiving Episode I used to watch this show in reruns. There was one that really ticked me off. Mel had purchased some live turkeys to feed a group of orphan children. Vera decided to set them all free. It made me mad that she did that. Looking back, I know it was just lousy writing. In reality, Vera would have been fired. When I was a kid, I wanted him to fire her for that. In my opinion, a better scenario would have been that the turkeys he ordered never showed up or the oven broke and he couldn't cook them. I did like the ending though. It was funny that the kids wanted hot dogs instead.
