Thumbs down Moving is Hell

I'm moving next week which explains my lack of posting lately. I think moving is one of the worst and most stressful things to do. The concept of having to move everything you own from one place to another is overwhelming.

I'm not talking about furniture. I've hired movers for that. It's the wrapping of glasses, dishes....boxes upon boxes....all the clothes. I have so much stuff. Next week, the fun starts with the unpacking.

Who's been through this nightmare?

Me, last April. What a pain. You never realized that you had so much stuff until you pack it.

Moving is the absolute worst. I feel for you. Moving everything from Minnesota to Texas was a beyotch. A hassle. I never want to do that again.

Woo...I feel your..... pain! Just spent a week helping a pal of mine whose entire HOUSE was "moved" but not by his own volition. That's right...HURRICANES in FL. Janice...quit your bitchin and be glad you have somewhere to go, ok?? The "concept" (omg) of wrapping up your $1.98 wine glasses from Pier One isn't really imporatant to some people right now.

Been there, done that, too. Quite a few times. After moving around a few times in one year, when I found my house, I said that was it!! I'm staying here for a long time.

You don't realize how much stuff you really have until you have to move it! You think you're almost done, then you see other things to pack. I would hate to have to pack & move all the crap I have in my house now.

She can complain if she wants. Moving is a pain. Just because someone has it worse, doesn't mean they're the only one's on this planet that can share their grief. Get a grip.

Me all of my life every 3-4 years. My dad was Navy so I'm a bit of a pro at moving. Add to that the fact I am the youngest of 4 siblings and have helped them all move at least 3 or 4 times (some LOTS MORE then others) I have it down to a science.

Exactly. I mean, c'mon...someone's life is ALWAYS worse than yours. Guess none of us can complain about anything.

Hey smartass, if I want to start a thread about moving, I'll do just that. Who are you to give anyone sarcasm and crap? Did you register to start trouble.

Oh, and sorry about your imaginary friend in Florida.

Who are you the "bitchin police" Give it a rest. Who are you anyway? You seem to be someone to just cause trouble. I mean, either you are somebody from the boards that just wants to cause trouble and signed up under a new name, or you are a totally new person who just signed up today and instead of helping your friend you decided to come to these boards and "bitch"
