Grace's friend from AA said they were having a special guest speaker at their next meeting. "I won't tell you who it is, but he starred in the Dick Van Dyke Show!"

Will & Grace has or had another DVD connection, Bill Idelson & his wife(Herman Glimshire )played an audience member in season 2.

One of the series writer was Ellen Idelson who is his daughter,

Sadly she passed away last year of cancer
