"Steal One, Pearl Two" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I've noticed something about this episode, actually, it was my mom who first noticed it, but anyway. You know how Bubba was accused of being the one who took Iola's pearls? Well, in the scene just before Iola comes rushing in saying that her pearls are missing, if you look closely, you can see Thelma handing back Iola's pearls to her. And, Iola puts them in her pocket. So, how did the pearls end up on the pillow, if they were in Iola's pocket the whole time? Has anyone else noticed this?

After Mama gave Iola back the pearls did'nt she sit down on the couch?But I always wondered how they would get stuck to the pillow.

Yes, I had noticed this. But she did it in an unobtrusive way so we would not notice.

The plot called for the pearls to be missing. So that's how they did it!

I don't think that Iola ever did sit down after Mama had the pearls.

She did sit down after Mama gave the pearls back.

I had to watch it since it was bugging me

But the pearls must have jumped to get on the back of the pillow.
