In my opinion, Nick at Nite is going down the tubes. And to the previous poster, I know
how you feel about N@N kicking off shows you like the most. It has happened to me several times. I still can't get over them kicking off I Love Lucy from their schedule, and now Laverne & Shirley. I am so displeased with Nick at Nite over this nonsense that has been going on. I think its stupid of them to be airing Three's Company at a later hour now . . . so many people enjoy that show and now they have to stay up an extra hour or so for Three's Company. Like I said Nick at Nite is getting worse and worse. Networks TV Land and Hallmark channel are so much better.

In my opinion they are gonna lose tons of viewers...FOL and ILL, oh gosh especially ILL were some of my fav shows! Luckily I had taped as many episodes as possible for Fol but still my gosh n@n really should cut back on the double takes so more shows could be on! -Leslie

Chrissy:Well, you know, Jack's really a nice person, he just hasn't been around children very much.
Jack:I live with you, don't I?

They have to live and die with Cheers; its their manifest destiny. For Slick Nick paid 75 million for Cheers. And I just don't know. Cheers is not a bad show, but right now its The Great Silence on my TV as I've switched N@N off now.

You see Cheers is a story type show. Kids and teens won't watch it and that leaves adults. The young adults and older people, which would be their target audience, Might catch it. Then again, I'm a Young Adult Male, 28 years old, and this show's a Cure for Insomnia most of the time.

Family Ties has a better chance for its more hip & with it, kiddies can watch as can teens & adults. And the Buzz I felt when it came back on Nick, I gotta tell you, was Righteous. For its sort of like Brady Bunch in its family get-together-ness; yea and its More Funny Too!

Diff'rent Strokes has been taken off the regular rotation, I suspect, because it and Facts of Life go together. Or maybe N@N needs professional help for those shows had good ratings! Amen.

And now Nick has bought up Cheers for a mess of the Real Thing. The $. The bread. Well as Chris Berman and Peter Brady says and Chris can go 1st:

Back back back back (his monologue)

Peter:

Going, going, gone (magic act ep)

Unless the demographic suitable to Cheers can be reached.

I just don't know.

Brady Bunch repeating Sun-Thur after Cheers Marathon at 4:00 AM-5:00 AM? Naw! Even a Brady Fan has to wonder, as Greg did to Mr. B in the pay phone ep:

I don't dig. Is Nick at Nite trying to get the 3rd Shift into the Brady Mania; yea the Wonders of the Grid and all that? Me thinks they'll be sleepy, especially if you use the "Air the Davy Jones show 12 times" Master Plan! Yep time for Brainwashing again.

Or are you saving the Real Thing. The $--Never mind.

I Miss "Diff'rent Strokes", "Laverne & Shirley", and "The Facts of Life"!

I Mean, They Only Have Six Shows On Their Network, when Nickgroovyness can only be reached with 10-11!

This has less varity then Gary Colemen saying a catchphrase!

All The Chrissylaughter will soon disappear due to Nick's "Master Plan"...One Day, it's gonna be the Nickeloden/The Network Formally Known as Nick at Nite, for Nickrighteousness will be replaced with:
The CHEERS Network!
All Cheers, All the Time
And in the words of That Lovable Arnold Jackson:
Aaaammmmeeeennnn!

Yeah i know. No offense to you guys who like cheers, but i just really dont..I mean I have actually given it a chance, its not like im saying i dont like it to fit in or whatever. ive tried and tried and tried watching it and enjoying it but i either fall asleep or end up changing the channel
And im 15, i mean i understand the show, its just not that great in my opinion. Seriously FOL and DS were soo great and were viewed by all different ages. Cheers is aimed for older people I think and sooo many people I know watch n@n, that are my age..and everyone I know loved fol and ds and l&s, but especially fol ( I wish they could bring those shows back! -Leslie

Know why Family Ties and Cheers are getting such a big push? They were produced by Paramount, which is owned by Viacom, which also owns TV Land and Nick at Nite.

Actually, it usually doesn't matter for the networks in SYNDICATION (But say, a show produced by Paramonunt on UPN [United Paramont Network] would have better chances)

Nick Still Had to Pay A lot, making Cheers and TC The Most Expensive Shows in their history (TC: 25 Mil, Cheers: 75 Mill)

What I Hate About Nick and TV Land is that they replace the org. Paramont Symbol at the end, which is dark blue. And Under it, this pops up (And if you watch FT or Happy Days in syndication, or for HD on Hallmark, it's there):
Paramont
A Golf Western Company
