Default Did you watch SBTB in the original run?

Just curious how many of you watched the show during it's original run. I did I even graduated from high school the same year they did

Yes indeed, I was a huge fan of the show during its original run. I watched it every Saturday morning on NBC, and also saw the occasional prime time episode as well. (didn't they air some eps on Friday and Sunday nights?) The show was very popular at my elementary/middle schools, and I'd always discuss the latest episodes with my buddies.

I had a huge crush on Kelly Kapowski...and Kelly Bundy from Married With Children. Naturally, I was excited to see Tiffani guest star on MWC for one episode alongside Christina Applegate. At the time, I was also crushing on a girl named Kelly at my school... O_o

Wow, another older SBTB fan. From my various lurking on here, it seems most of the fans these days are younger who have discovered the episodes during their youth through re-runs.

Anyways, I was about 3-4 years behind the age of the SBTB gang. Which means that I was a full-blown Saturday morning TV-aholic when the show first came out. So I got hooked, and then grew up watching over the next few years, even as my Saturday morning TV viewing decreased.

I'm only 18...in January I'll be 19. I'm younger than most of you guys, but I still watched through the original airings. The SBTB gang is about 11 years older than me? Yup, because I graduated this year and they graduated in 1993. But I still remember watching the episodes for the first time as if it were yesterday.

You're making me feel old I'm 30, and I guess I am the same age they were since we graduated high school the same year.

In real life Mark-Paul is only 6 months, and 6 days older than me

No I didn't watch on it's original run, back then I was a cartoon freak and back when NBC used to actually have cartoons on Sat morning I usually would watch those and turn the tv off when SBTB would come on. But I do remember watching it when I think they first started showing it on TBS, back when TBS used to do that 5:05 to 5:35 thing. I remember it used to come on for an hour.

I remember when it came to TBS...the 5 after and 35 after thing is funny. I completely forgot about that. Didn't Full House come on after it for an hour and then after that, Family Matters or something like that?

Yeah, I remember Family Matters coming on after it for a while, but the most recent show I remember following it was Charles in Charge so I think they replaced FM for CIC after a while.

I sometimes watched the original run except the pre-season 1 episodes with Hayley Mills as Miss Bliss.

I was pretty young when it was shown for the first time (I was 6 in 1993), but I do remember my sister watching it (she was 13 in 1993). I even remember buying her a poster of the people on the show for her birthday one year.

Oh, but it's a kid show....it was on the Saturday morning line-up. I was about 4 when I started watching it.
