I was just wondering how some of ya'll got hooked on Seinfeld? My bestfriend at the time told me about the contest episode. Did I mention we where in church? I tried so hard not to laugh but it was impossible I had to get out of there quick. Since that night I tuned in every Thursday.

I read all these great reviews about this show on NBC. It seemed like everybody was praising it for its ingenuity. So I sampled it and never looked back.

I remember i couldn't stand the show after first viewing it,but it only took a second time to get me hooked, and i think it was the humor that did it.

"The Pilot." Followed quickly by "The Chinese Restaurant."

The show within a show was what sucked me in.... I had to see it pull through.
Although, the first episode I ever watched on NBC was the finale. I had seen it before in syndication, but I distinctly remember watching the series finale. |

I know this sounds a little corn-ball...
but I was a Jerry stand up fan, and was waiting for the series pilot, and loved it from the get go. I'm a big fan of the referencing & the way the whole thing twists together from begining to end. I remember watching his Tonight Show gigs & such with Johnny. but... I didn't "get into it" on this trivial minutea level until after the series ended and I found these other SeinGeeks on the dubdubdub. I knew Seinfeld was a loaded trivia haven, but there were few to engage in SeinConversations with. My trivial breakdown of the series grew with the growth of the net. When the series premired ('89), you didn't just keep the cable modem logged on, fire onto the web as you walk by, & pull up scripts, trivia & SeinBlogs in a blink. barwars, the show-within-a-show stuff (season 4) & the whole "real-life" paralell thing also got me thinking it was pretty clever

I remember watching "Wings" reruns with my mom. Then after that show was over, Seinfeld would come on. I usually left when it did. But when I did start to watch it, it took just a couple of episodes to get into it. I've pretty much been hooked since I was 12.

I didn't really start watching it until reruns on TBS. I thought it was kinda dumb but once you get into it you can't stop. Now it's my favorite show.
