Default Full House or Roseanne

I was bored so I thought I'd make a poll. I like Roseanne because it is the adult version of Full House.

I agree completely, for I have always thought of Roseanne being Full House's evil twin!

Roseanne was always brash and never conformed to being safe, whereas Full House is so damn goody-two-shoes to make sure not one person is the least bit offended. That is the main reason I dislike shows like Full House and 7th Heaven (I notice WB is giving commercials making such a hype that the blonde boy is having sex... he's like 18 or 19, it's no big deal when kids on The OC and One Tree Hill have sex, so why should it be for him either), they're just too safe. I like it when shows actually push buttons.

The reason Roseanne lasted as long as it did and appealed to as many people as it did was because it was REAL. It wasn't sugar-coded and wasn't cute. It dealt with serious subjects and she never conformed to please middle America.

Defintely Roseanne.

Once you get to about Age 13, Full House becomes unwatchable.

That's your opinion, my grandmother is 78 and she loves FH, she hates Roseanne, so there's def. something appealing about both shows

but Brent is half-right. I run into friends in their 20's and 30's all the time who LOVE Roseanne. The only one of my friends who watches Full House has the excuse of having 11 and 8 year old daughters, and even she doesn't watch unless the kids are watching.

FH may have older fans, but the median age of FH fans I see in here are 11-13. I've seen some older fans in here, but the majority of the FH fans I come across more than likely did not watch it when it was on ABC. Roseanne OTOH seems to have a mostly 20-something, 30-something fanbase. We grew with the show and still love it. Whereas it's not the same with FH and many of us grew up with that show too.

You're right. IMO it's all a matter of preference, there's people who love both shows, people who hate one or the other or hate both.

I've never been able to get into Roseanne, it's not a bad show, but I just can't seem to watch more than one episode at a time, FH I am the same way, I can't watch it too many times in a row, but I seem to tolerate FH more than Roseanne
