What happened in the finale?

Sam revealed that he was gay, Carla had a love child with Cliff, Norm bought the bar from Sammy, Rebecca commited suicide and Frasier left Boston out of disgust when Woody won the election.

Although it was sad to see them seperate, that was pretty funny.
And then when she guest starred on Frasier, and he made her swear not to tell Niles & Martin about her rocker days. One of my favorite episodes

Also it turned out that Rebecca was just an alternate personality of Diane's, so Rebeccca isn't real

Once again, chopped up UK version.
It wasnt that she was an alternate personality, it was that Diane had a sex change and became a man, who became a drag queen named Rebecca. (thats why she would never sleep with Sam)
