OMG....they would have made the cutest high school sweethearts. They so would have won homecoming King and Queen !!!! Can't you just see them with their crowns on and joyce holding flowers!!! AWWW .....they would have been so cute.

She is the star of a weekly Japanese drama I have been watching on Saturday nights the past year or so. The program is called "Sakura" about a Japanese American from Hawaii who goes to Japan to find her roots and teach at middle school for a year.

I have been watching Japanese dramas on a local station every Saturday night for many years now (at least the ones with English subtitles), it is an interesting glimpse into Japanese society.
