Frank Oz is an actor, who voices several Muppet characters. He is also the voice of Yoda in the Star Wars movies.
He has also done some live action acting roles in movies, his best known role as the police officer that gives Jake Blues his stuff at the beginning of Blues Brothers. And I find it ironic, that he voices so many wacky characters, yet all of his live action characters are dead pan characters. What is your favorite Muppet character voiced by Frank Oz? My favorite is Burt. |

Tough call. There are so many great characters he has brought to life.
I would have to go with Yoda. Although he's not in the strictest sense a "muppet," his work in Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi was outstanding. |

Did Frank Oz have on screen roles in any Muppet movies? I thought I saw him in 2002 "Muppet Christmas" and in "Muppets Take Manhatton."

I don't think he's appeared as himself in any of the Muppet films.
He pops up in many John Landis movies. |
