I really liked Mariah Carey's earlier albums like Emotions and Music Box, but during the late 90's her music began to take on a more hip hop feel and that didn't appeal to me. However, I'll take Mariah over Lopez any day of the week.

When comparing singers like this, I tend to look at the singing, which means I pick Mariah her vocal range is amazing especially her upper register, Jennifer don't really have all of that

Jennifer. Come on now, she's got a better body, her career is still exsistant(unlike Mariah who is a has been and needs to cover her ugly ass up and get over her mid-life crisis).
