Here are some quotes from each episode of The Partridge Family :
"THE PARTRIDGE PAPERS" Shirley: What could be in a diary that would be embarrassing? What could be in a diary that would be so embarrassing? Laurie: Lots of things. Shirley: Like. Laurie: Like, when I was 12,and you took me to Hanley's Department Store... You know, when we went to the lingerie department... The time that I got my first... (Shirley Laughing): There's nothing to be embarrassed about. Every girl that age gets one! Laurie: I know, but sometimes in a diary, you exaggerate things a little. Shirley: What did you say? Laurie: D! "ANATOMY OF A TONSIL" Punky: Hi,Danny. Danny:(Hoarsely) Hi,Punky. Guess what? I'm going to the doctors to get my tonsils out. Punky: I know. Your mom told me. Danny: Did she tell you how brave I was when I found out? Punky: She didn't mention it. Danny: Oh. Well, the doctor leveled with me. He said "Danny, old chap, this is a very extremely dangerous operation. Can you handle it?",and I said "Dr. Millstead,I can handle anything you can dish out at me,just give me a bullet to bite on." And then I laughed "Ha,Ha!" Do you know why I laughed? Punky: You were laughing at the face of danger. Danny: Yeah, right. Are there any other quotes yo remember that are the best? Let me know! |

I would have to say, from "What? And Get Out Of Showbusiness?"
when the family is rehearsing "Let The Good Times In": Laurie: You know,I've been thinking about these lyrics. Keith: What about them? Laurie: Well,do you think that they're really relevant? Keith: Relevant?!! One lousy stand-in,and suddenly she's Joan Baez. Laurie: Don't put me down because I have a social concience. I simply can't reply to anything isn't exactly relevant! Danny: Well, this song is very relevant. Laurie: To What? Danny: To eating:The right promotion of this record will make a million. Are there any other lines that you think is : " THE BEST PARTRIDGE FAMILY QUOTE EVER"? |

How about these...
From "I Can Get It For You Retail": Keith: "It all started when I lost my pickle!" From several episodes: Chris and/or Tracy: "Whoooo?" From "Did You Hear The One About Danny Partridge?": Danny (after crawling out from behind the amplifier onstage): "Mom, I can't find my thing" Shirley (in shock): "WHAT?!?" |

A PARTRIDGE UP A PEAR TREE -- Keith's hard-up for money trying to keep his old junker Hudson running, and is hitting up everyone in the family --
Keith: "Chris, old buddy, how'd you like to go for a ride in my car?" Chris: "I'd love to go for a ride in your car Keith, but I'm not giving you any money!" and later at the dinner table -- Chris: "So if you didn't have a car or Carol, you'd have lots of money." Keith: "Yeah, but who could live without a car or a girlfriend?" Chris: "I could. I do it all the time!" A PARTRIDGE BY ANY OTHER NAME -- the kids are trying to convince Danny he's not adopted, and show him and old photograph -- Keith: "We all looked at it and agree it's you." Danny: "Looks like a basketball" Chris: "That's your head! Don't you even recognize your own head?" BUT THE MEMORY LINGERS ON -- the family has just taken baths, mistakenly thinking they've eliminated the skunk smell -- Chris: "You know it's weird, but I can still smell that stuff." Keith: "Well it's probably just your imagination." Chris: "I sure have a pretty powerful imagination!" THE RED WOODLOE STORY -- Shirley thinks the singer at a church service is an famous folk singer-- Shirley: "Listen to him. That's Red Woodloe." Reuben: "Couldn't be. He's been dead for years." Tracy (whispering to Chris): "He's dead!" Chris (swallowing hard): "Don't worry, he looks friendly enough....for a ghost." |
