I was wondering what some of all of our favorites episodes were. I haven't seen them all yet. However, some of the best I've seen so far are "The Boat Builders," "Water Anyone," and "Found Money."
These are all from the earlier years, and I'm sure there are lots of others. What are your favorites?

Very difficult to choose an all-time favorite, but for sheer laughs I'd have to go with "Wally's Haircomb". Ward and June's reaction to that hair and the jazzy music that plays each time they look at it just cracks me up every time.

Hmm, hard question. But "Beaver Won't Eat" is one of my very favorites, if not my #1 favorite!

I agree that "Wally's Haircomb" is a great one! I didn't really like "Beaver Won't Eat" as I felt too sorry for him there!

I think "Beaver Won't Eat" is terrible because of the way June acts! Many people don't like the later episodes as well as the early years.
A favorite of mine from the later years is "Beaver's Fear," where Jerry Mathers puts in what I think is a really good performance!

Offhand I'd say "Lumpy Rutherford", "Teacher Comes to Dinner" and "Summer in Alaska". I'm sure I'll think of more. I generally like the later ones better.

For some reason they rarely show it. It was on recently though!

I don't know exactly why that is. We will have to wait for the dvd to come out!

I don't think that's the reason they don't show Captain Jack...I mean, why would they not show a toilet seat on tv in 2004?
I think the reason they don't show some episodes as much as others is because of some sort of contractual thing...I don't remember specifically, but I rememeber reading something on the TVLand website about how they only get permission to show certain episodes of certain shows a fixed number of times. I'm not sure why though. |
