Thumbs down This is very stupid!!!

I just checked out the Nick at Nite schedule for today and I saw that there were 6 different shows playing! Thats it! Thats all the shows they show!?! That's dumb, they could have up to 17 different shows! I find this very stupid! They own plenty of shows and choose not to show them. And the worse parts of DS is that not all of the episodes weren't shown! Thats just plan stupid!!!

How many times has this subject been posted about?I've lost count.I agree with you but maybe TV land will get DS back on.In the FOL board some of the people call it "The Cheers Network" because they show Cheers all the time others just complain because they would rather be watching something else.Hmm when will this madness end?So who wants to join the I hate Nick at nite club?

I finally got a chance to check out the schedule and 4 different episodes of Cheers each night? That is a little too much. Family Ties doesn't even get that. It's much to confusing to talk about.

I agree 100% the only 6 shows they show are
1)The Brady Bunch
2)Three's Company
3)All In the Family
4)The Jeffersons
5)Cheers
6)Family Ties
I love the Brady Bunch. Three's Company,All in the Family & the Jeffersons. I think they should still show them but also other shows as well.

And out of those 6 shows they show, I only watch the 9:30 Family Ties because I go to bed at 10:30. I would watch All in the Family, Three's Company, The Jeffersons, and the Other Family Ties episode. They do show these (at least) but their in the middle of the night!

Hey, sign me up, I'll join! Even though
DS is back on N@N, I still hate N@N for
what they have been doing to other important shows and how N@N has treated
other important shows.

My problem with Cheers isn't that its a bad show I can actually sit through some episodes if I have to. Its just that its on to much.

Because that would be incredibly stupid.

Cheers was an incredibly hot commodity its entire eleven-year run. It still is as far as classic series go.

It's one show that never "jumped the shark," and only showing the Diane shows would not only be idiotic, but it would also be cutting the run in more than half.

I think the reason they only show 6 different shows a day is to save some of the them for the future when people get tired of the current lineup. Playing 17 different shows a day wouldn't be a good idea because they need to give people something different to look forward to years down the line. If people watch every episode of all 17 shows in a few years then what would Nick have to play 5 or 10 years down the line. It's all about keeping things fresh and giving people something to look forward to in the future.
