Also the episodes at the beach *when they were working the summer job* what season did they happen in? and can somebody explain the whole on & off zack & kelly episodes. sorry im really confused about this show.

The "Tori" episodes were filmed after the cast believed that the series was over. After assuming that SBTB was done, Elizabeth Berkley and Tiffani Amber Thiessen became involved with other projects, but eventually NBC wanted more episodes (to be eligible for syndication,) but Liz and Tiff couldn't back to the series so they got "Tori" to fill the void.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Malibu Sands episodes were supposed to take place the summer before 11th grade.

Jesse and Kelly weren't even mentioned when Tori came aboard. All of a sudden Lisa told Tori she was her best freind. Then she said she was her only best freind. Then Zack dated Tori. Eeeuuu! Zack would have dated anything. I think this disrespected the Jesse and Kelly characters.

The character of Tori was brought in so in combination with GMMB, SBTB could be ran in syndication. So actually, we should all be thankful for Tori. I don't like her either...but without her the show may not have been ran in reruns. (But if they could've predicted the future, they would have had seen they would have enough episodes with TCY)

There were 87 episodes of SBTB
+
13 episodes of GMMB

so...

87
+13
------
100

And 100 episodes is enough to be ran in syndication.

So, in conclusion, that is why they brought in the character of Tori.

but wasn't tori dropped a year later and jesse & kelly were back on? Because they had other commitments in contracts that year...so why drop Tori after all that anyway?

No, Tori came after Kelly and Jessie left. Kelly and Jessie never returned. Kelly returned in the College Years and the next time we saw Jessie was in Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas.

NBC aired the episodes every other episode so it made it look like Jessie and Kelly were there the same time, but in reality those episodes were taped before the Tori episode.
