I am not a huge fan of Jr. but I have to admit I watched a movie he was in this weekend .. I dont even know what the name of it was..(it was about two co-eds who fall in love and break up and basically cant live w/o eachother and end up together again)... anyway... for the first time I actually enjoyed watching him..even to the point where I shed a tear.. (YES it was a chick flick) which I dont usually watch)
Maybe .. just MAYBE... I saw a little of Sr. in him. |

...was the name of that movie (could someone else please explain to me the meaning of that title? I know it is the title of a book that figures prominently in the plot, but still...LOL!). It starred Julia Stiles as his girlfriend. I just love her too!
You are sooo right, it is one of the only movies of Jr.'s in which he shows a full range of emotions and personality traits. He goes through an evolution from shyness to confidence, convincingly exhibiting love and happiness, then sadness and depression--all the while maintaining poise, intelligence, sophistication, and a glimmer of his father's humor. BTW this was the first thing in which I saw Ashton Kutcher (before I belatedly discovered "That 70's Show")--he played a pretty amusing, and at the same time creepy, obsessed fan of Jim Morrison. |

I haven't seen this movie but one that I have seen that I really liked, enough to go out and purchase it was Head over Heals. It is a romantic comedy and he does a nice job in that too. I have also seen the first of the Scooby Do movies, that was funny. (Both of these I have seen with Mariposa BTW)

I liked Jr in she's all that, where he transforms a geeky (scuse the word) girl into the prom queen and falls in love with her. that was cute...it made me feel like there's hope for me
