Default question about the big bet ep.

its one of my fave eps. but i always thought that mike and carol were being silly when they made greg take bobby out on his date with racheal i dont care what kind of deal greg and bobby had that was just insane no parent would make anybody do that but then again maybe they just wanted to make sure greg didnt get any action but what was playing on the movie screen of course he didnt get any action on the screen eather he was to busy getting bobby food at the snack bar

I agree. They should have said, "Greg has already fixed your bike, shined your shoes, driven you places...", etc..."enough is enough. You don't have to go on his date too."

That was going too far.

But the deal was that the loser had to do anything that the winner told him to. And we all know how big Greg was on "exact words".

Yeah, but I think Mike and Carol would've drawn the line if Bobby asked something really pervy....like if he could have a threesome with Greg and Rachel.

Angry gross

but funny.

I think Mike did the right thing making Bobby go with Greg. If Bobby didn't go the episode would have ran short.

I understand it made for a funny episode....but in a real life situation, the parents should have said no. The line has to be drawn somewhere. Otherwise, Bobby could have ordered Greg to:

Throw eggs on the Dittmeyers' house

Rip up his sisters' homework

Dump Alice's dinner on the floor

Slap his parents in the face

etc.

There has to be a limit.

or told Greg to take off all his clothes and jog round the block 15 times.
or go steal the bicycle he (Bobby) wants from Martinelli's Bike Shop.
or drink 2 gallonsof the "quick energizer" Greg made the day he was pitching.
or put the itching powder used at Marcia's slumber party in Carol's bras and panties while she was getting ready to go to a club meeting.
.................

Right!

They should have said "do the winner's chores for a week" because they certainly couldn't do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING the winner might think of.

Very creative post. I never thought of all the "exact" things Bobby could have told Greg to do.

Being several years younger, wouldn't Bobby have had an earlier curfew than Greg? I have a nephews who are approximately Greg and Bobby's ages, and there's no way the youngest one would be allowed to stay out as late as the oldest one, no matter what the circumstances.
