I don't remember the exact show now, but Chico is running around the garage getting ready for a date. Ed is trying to talk to him and Chico says,"I have to get dressed for my date." Then Ed replies, "You don't get dressed, you get upholstered." I just always thought that was so funny.

Loved that line! It was from the episode with Patty Beltran, "Life Style". One of my favorites for many reasons, not the least of which was the suit Chico was getting "upholstered" into hee hee! Freddie did look fabulous in a three-piece suit!

Another of my favorite lines is from when Ed wants to marry Aunt Connie and it dawns on him that he and Chico would then be uncle and nephew. I fall apart laughing at the the accent and the look Freddie puts on when he says, "Well, I sure ain't gonna be your niece!"

I have two really, cause I have hundreds but if I had to narrow it down....

The first also comes from the first Aunt Connie episode when Ed tells Chico that his aunt wanted to see the Rose Bowl and Chico asks him who was playing and Ed, without missing a beat says "We were!" with that sly look on his face.... Chico's expression to that was priceless.

I guess my all time favorite comes from the boxer episode when Louie is trying to convince Chico, on the prompting of Ed, not to box. Chico looks at Louie and says, "I don't know how he does it, Louie? I see you talking but all I hear is Ed!" and then looks up at Ed on the stairs. I bust out laughing every time!

I wanted to let all of you know that I would have done more for the anniversary, but things here have been kinda wild. I know that is really no excuse, but I think of you all and CATM often, even if I don't get on here much anymore. I would ask all of you to pray for me, since I have been under a lot of stress lately due to both school and family issues. My health is deteratoring because of it and I really need to get into the doctor to have some of this looked at. It got so bad last Wednesday that I thought I was having a mild heart attack and called the EMT's to my home, but it turned out to be stress enduced digestive pain.

I love you all and think of you all as my extended family. I wanted to personally thank Suzanne for her hard work on the Anniversary tribute over at Ed Brown's garage. I saw Mando's letter too and wanted to thank him for joining us. I hope that the doctors can get me straightened out, that my work and stress load will lighten soon and I can get back on here and get to writing stories again. I miss it all.

Luckymama you are continuely in my prayers as I have been thinking about you and what you are going through. Stress can be a difficult matter physically and emotionally. Okay...for one of his catch phrases.... it would have to be....
YOUUUU got it!...

I cant BELIEVE no one else said this.... !

but there two things he said that always stuck in my mind.......

The FIRST show..where Ed yells "Chico get out here..we got a customer" and Chico answers... WE? got a custemer! WE GOT A CUSTEMER! The adorable smile and the dimples just knock ya out...and then there one more.... We he said something to Ed to the effect of "My people have a saying..and it says something in spanish...and he is asked what does that mean?" and he aswers... I DUNT belief you...in that cute accent!
