Talking Priscilla on E!

Is it me, or did Priscilla sound really different? She sounded like Terri when she lost her personality. (But if You Read "All My Company" It Turns Out She Never had One!)

I Feel Sorry for All the Blondes Now, not just Suzanne. They dropped Priscilla's pay because she wouldn't do the show until 1986! And Jenilee had to *Work* with her replacment!

(But I Wish Priscilla Did Agree to the Five Year Thing.....Considering That Time Period, It Would Have Ended Really Differently!)

Well, I thought Ann and Jenilee both looked good for their age.

Was it just me or did Jenilee's lips look big?And did y'all see Mary Cadorette?I think she looks better than in her Vicki days. And Norman Fell had the same hair do.

I want to know.OK the special was between 1997 and 1998.Because Audra was dead but Norman was still alive right?Anyway if that is it Richard Kline must have dyed his hair back to black for "Noah Knows Best".And John did look a little fatter in the neck area(double chin).Priscilla's cheeks looked a little pointy.Suzanne looked just like Suzanne.Don Knotts was marble headed just like usual.Joyce was her good self.

By the way on the Joyce-bitter topic....you gotta remember that Suzanne thought she was the star.We all new John Ritter was the star. And they couldn't replace John or Joyce.I mean it was the late 70s early 80s...who can they replace him with..Micheal Jackson?I think that Joyce and Suzanne did do some talking together after they made that. She did say she wanted to talk alone in a room. And don't call NRW scum bags!If it weren't for them the show could have been cancelled after 2 seasons. And with the whole thing about Joyce not liking the fact that John got his on show:She thought exactly what we wanted...she wanted Jack and Janet to get together. She just felt heartbroken that they secretly planned the show. She thought that Janet and Jack would have made a better spin-off.But they decided to give Jack Vicki meaning the other characters were useless.

But hey that's just how I see it.

JT, I totally agree w/ what you said about Joyce's opinion of 'Three's A Crowd.' She was right, we were right, and the producers were wrong. Simple as that. And because of their secrecy and always having to have things their way, the spin-off didnt do well.
Also in the True Hollywood Story, John said something about how it couldn't be Janet because the whole 'father-hates-Jack' thing was important to the show. My theory: either have a show w/ the father plot OR have a successful show w/ the couple that people were expecting. Hmm... Besides, if I remember right, in 'Janet's Secret' Mr. Wood wasn't too happy after he found out they weren't married.
Bottom line: the spin-off coulda lasted and made me extremely happy...but the producers messed up. That's it.

~Courtney <just my opinion... lol>

TC failed in it's last season, being in the 30s, and TAC prob. did better then a ninth season of TC, IMO. I just wished the kept Suzanne. We really didn't know her mother so well......that sickness could of've messed her up!

Actually I didn't want Jack and Janet to get together, I would have rather saw him with Chrissy.

I don't think Jack should have gotten together romantically with any of his roommates -- they seemed too much like siblings, and it would have been weird. TAC would have failed whoever was the girlfriend, though. Audiences were tired of Jack Tripper after eight years. Maybe if TAC had been done a few years earlier, it would have had a better chance.

I agree the producers should have been more upfront with Joyce about John's new show, rather than waiting to tell her -- it showed a real lack of respect for a person who had been with the show for so long.

Mary Cadorette did look good in the special, but then again, she's younger than the TC cast members.
