Im quite confused about the last episode of Roseanne at the end I keep watching it on tape over and over again and im wondering if you can help me.
Is the season 9 set the same set as the set that was used in season 3 when the Bowman family moved in?, because the house changes back to the "original" style after she finishes her book at the end of the last episode. I've probably just answered my own, if not please let me know. Also, the dormer window that can be seen on the front of the house during scene changes, who's room is that?. Thanks for your time Jason |

The Season 9 house isn't the Bowman house. I'm guessing that they just changed the set in the last episode or maybe filmed it before they changed it to the new one.

I'm sure that the Bowman house was not a seperate set... they wouldn't have built a whole new set in season 3 and saved it for 6 more years with it being unused.

One thing I don't get, if the next door house is the same, then, in the episode where they see the Cornellis naked, wouldn't their bedroom window be looking into the living room and not the next door bedroom?

thats a problem with the show is they screw up the set alot.

however, the window in the conners room where they are looking at the old people naked would be facing the street not next door. That's one problem with set another is the stairs. In the show they look like this, but to fit in to the show, they really should look like the above picture. Sorry, this is a bad picture, but that's what the set looks like.

In one of the eps, I forget which one, in the end, it shows the part of the sets, the living/kitchen is in the middle and jackie's living room is off to the side where the living room wall kind of angles, I guess the other rooms are wheeled out when needed or something like that.

The last part of the last episode was not taped in front of a studio audience in order to keep in secret. But I still can't place where the taping was cut off. When Roseanne was going around the table telling how people really were, the audience was clearly laughing at some of her commentary, especially about Bev. I don't understand where the live audience was ushered out.

a laugh track was probably used throughout the entire episode.

But that audience laughter fades out when she reveals that Dan really died. That was one of the keys to the entire episode, I can't imagine them having an audience there.
