Mistake?

hey i think there is a mistake in the book..unless they taped two episodes on the same day? on page 292 it says:

#110 "Dates of Wrath"(0609)
Janet and Terri want the same guy..
then it says all the guest star and writing things..then..
Tape Date:Oct.6 1981
Air Date ec 8,1981

then it says...
#111 "Macho Man" (0611)
Jack asserts his masculinity and ends up in jail...etc..
then:
Tape Date:0ct 6th..once again..1981
Air Date ec 15, 1981

How could two episodes be taped on the same day (October 6th)? Especially since one is 609 and another is 611..is that a mistake? Thanks,

you know a mistake that really made me mad as a kid because it was clearly wrong!

when they showed a whole wing of the apartment.. next to the kids apartment room.

it was the episode with that guy with the puppet in the suitcase.. and the kids thought it was a dead body..

* it was soooooo clear in the opening credits the first year .. you can clearly see chrissy sun bathing on their porch.. and there was NO extra wing..


thats when the show pissed me off.. and the show was going down hill, because of the lazy writers/producers

If you put a colon next to a D it does that. That's pretty funny it ended up that way!

Apparently, episodes are not always aired in the order in which they are taped.

This site provides good information on the order the episodes were taped vs. when they were aired. It's likely the producers air the episodes at their discretion, when they think it best fits the storyline.

lol and there's no way Janet/Chrissy's room fits between the bathroom and Jack's room, being the size it is.
