Steve Urkel, because.... he wasn't real.

Whereas, as weird as Carlton was -- he was realistic.

Carlton wasn't nutty so he shouldn't be compared to Steve Urkel. Carlton was a smart guy who wasn't into Hip Hop. So he was in no way a NERD. A better comparison would be Mork or Urkel, two NUTS

Can you give me a reason on why you think Carlton was weird?

He wasn't a nerd. He was a guy who was very smart with a different taste in music and clothes. He just wasn't HIP. But not a nerd

Exactly, there was nothing unusual about Carlton. Will was the Weirdo-LOL Especially in season 1 but he calmed down after that.

I don't think Will was really weird just different cause of how he lived in Philly.

I always thought it was cute that Carlton liked Tom Jones' music

Carlton had an "uppity" air about him; he was very conservative and pretentious, and to someone who grew up in the ghetto, he would come across as someone who was not hip or cool

So you are telling me that Carlton was a nerd because he wasn't into RaP Music, and didn't wear baseball cap backward??????
