Apparently you didn't know that there was a live action Dennis The Menace which lasted on CBS from 1959 to 1963 and has been seen in reruns since the 60's. I remember watching it on Nick at Nite back in the mid 80's and they showed it on TV Land a couple of years ago but they only showed the first season.

If only some network would air it maybe some new viewers would be able to enjoy it. Except for a couple episodes I haven't seen the show in years.

Ironically, Jay north and the girl who played Margaret are still fast friends today, while Dennis and Margaret were never really close in the comic! haha

Actually the real comic strip by Hank Ketcham, and the comic books by Al Wiseman topped the TV series

I grew up watching the Dennis re-runs since the show ended when I was only a year old. I liked the comic strip by Hank Ketchum. I never watched the movie that was made about it. That stuff rarely seems to work, and by reading the comments here, I won't watch it.

I know that Jeannie Russell and Jay North still keep in touch and are good friends, but does anyone know what happened to Billy Booth? He played Dennis' friend Tommy. Whenever I have caught a update on the characters I notice that I see Jeannie and Jay, but nobody else. I know that Herbert Anderson (the father) passed away, and Gloria Henry is up in years. I never hear anything about Booth.
